2. Processing of personal data
According to the EU GDPR, personal data are all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). A natural person is identifiable if he or she can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by assignment to an identifier (such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, IP address, location data or special characteristics such as genetic, economic and social identity of this natural person).
Processing is understood to mean any operation carried out with or without the aid of automated procedures or any series of operations in connection with data. This includes in particular the collection, recording, organisation, arrangement, storage, adaptation or modification, reading, querying, use, disclosure by transmission, distribution or provision, comparison, linking, restriction, deletion or destruction.
You are not required to provide any information in order to use our website. In certain cases, however, we need your name and address and other information so that we can provide the requested services.
The same applies, for example, to the sending of information material and goods ordered or to the answering of individual questions. Where this is necessary, we will inform you accordingly. In addition, we only process data that you voluntarily provide us with and, if applicable, data that we automatically collect when you visit our website (e.g. IP address and the names of the pages you visit, the browser and operating system you use, date and time of access, search engines used, names of downloaded files).
If you make use of services, as a rule only those data are collected which we need to provide the services. As far as we ask you for further data, it is voluntary information.
The processing of data takes place exclusively for the fulfilment of the requested service and for the protection of own justified business interests.

Processing of personal data for job applicants
We hereby inform you about the use of your personal data that we collect in the course of your job application and provide you with further details in accordance with Art. 13 DSGVO (EU Basic Data Protection Regulation):

The processing of personal data is carried out for the purpose of applicant selection, for recruitment purposes, in particular for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship, taking into account Art. 88 DSGVO and Section 26 BDSG.
The data is collected, stored and, if necessary, passed on internally by us, as far as it is necessary to process an application. An application represents an offer from a job seeker to a company to establish an employment or training relationship. This is submitted by the applicant to the company by e-mail, by post or online. The collection, storage and disclosure are thus carried out for the purpose of pre-contractual measures at the request of the person concerned.
Furthermore, we may process personal data about you insofar as this is necessary for the defense of asserted legal claims asserted against us from the application process. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.
Insofar as an employment relationship between you and us is established, we may, in accordance with Section 26 (1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), we may process the personal data we have already received from you for the purposes of the employment relationship, if this is necessary for the performance or termination of the employment relationship or for the exercise or fulfillment of the obligations arising from a law or a collective bargaining agreement.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data:
We process your personal data in accordance with the requirements of and in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and area-specific data protection standards that may apply to the employment relationship (Social Security Code, Telecommunications Act, Works Constitution Act, etc.). The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (initiation of the employment relationship), Section 26 BDSG and Art. 88 DSGVO. We process voluntary information within the scope of your application on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (consent), 26 para. 2 BDSG and Art. 88 DSGVO.
Failure to provide this data may result in the applicant not being hired.
Further processing will only take place if you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (e.g. for the inclusion of your application in our applicant pool) or there is a legal reason for us, as a company, whereby we are subject to the corresponding legal obligations.

From which sources does the data originate?
We process personal data that we receive from you as part of your application.
In addition, we process - insofar as this is necessary in the context of fulfilling the application process - personal data that we permissibly receive from third parties (e.g. from courts, authorities, offices or insurance companies). In addition, we may process personal data that you have made publicly available, information that you have made publicly accessible, such as a profile on professional social media networks. If we use other sources, we will inform you of this.

Recipients or categories of recipients:
Your personal data will only be shared within the company with persons or departments involved in the application process. This also includes our HR director at our sister company Panreac Química SLU in Spain.
Data will not be passed on to other third parties or to a third country.

How long will your data be stored?
We store your personal data for as long as is necessary to make a decision about your application. If an employment relationship between you and us does not come about, we may continue to store data beyond this, insofar as this is necessary for the defense against possible legal claims. In this case, the application documents will be deleted six months after notification of the rejection decision, unless longer storage is required due to legal disputes or you have explicitly agreed to a longer storage period.

What data protection rights do you have?
In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), you have a right to information, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, a right of revocation as well as a right of objection and, if applicable, a right to data portability. The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority is also herewith pointed out.
With regard to the right to information and the right of deletion, the restrictions according to Section 34 and Section 35 BDSG apply.
Consent given can be revoked at any time. Please note that the revocation is only effective for the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected.
Automated decision-making including profiling does not take place.
